Forgotten.

In 2018, the inventory of old mannequins from the last century was thoroughly examined and sorted through in FILMQUARTIER WIEN. Over several days, individual parts, such as heads, arms, and legs, were inspected and disposed of on site. The once dazzling mannequins, long an object of admiration for numerous people walking by their display windows, have lost their glamour. Gone are the glorious days. The dents, the chipped varnish, and the faded colors only hint at what had once shone so wonderfully. Stored in a city attic and fallen into oblivion.

This series of pictures was taken with old and expired 35 mm film and an almost antique analogue Minolta camera. In 2018, the photos ended up on a USB stick and had been lost ever since. They were rediscovered by chance while clearing out the photographer's apartment in 2025.
